Not everyone enjoys the text in this collection, to be honest. But most everyone can admire the amazing illustrations from Edmond Dulac. He uses a lush romantic style, with a mix of Orientalism, Art Deco, and fanciful opium dreams. The illustrations alone make this more of an art book than a just collection of mythical tales.
